Great job with the proportions, I can clearly see its a spider.  The next step would be to try and make it look more 3 dimensional and less flat.  Instead of using straight lines for the segments of the leg, try instead to consider the form in 3d and wrap the curve around the leg to show form.  You can also do this through wrapping details and markings on the back.  Good Luck!
