Today's practice

The size of the head in comparison to the chest looks really good! That can be a struggle to get right, so kudos for you to that!

For the drawing in the upper corner, the distance between the hips and chest is a little long, which is pretty tricky to get right, our brains tend to overestimate the length. It's also tough to get it perfect when you're doing a short pose, it usually takes me a few tries to get it right.

Do you ever try to recreate a pose with your own body? It really helps to get a feel for how muscles and fat and skin change shape when you move. Dynamic poses are a bit harder, but if you can go through the movement slowly, or do it a few times, it can really help to understand how flesh interacts with the bones in our bodies.

You look like you've really worked at this a lot, these are awesome!

Thank you Barbara! Re: length between hips and chest, totally agree, that was my first thought when I zoomed out and reflected after drawing.

I'll try that out. Thanks for the response and encouragement!
