I want to be able to draw under the same conditions as paper.

Done as part of a practice session with poses of 1 hour in length. My current goal is: Better understand human anatomy, so I can render imagined poses 3min*20set  Drawn with Undo/Image Shift/Zoom/Eraser disabled Some have distorted proportions or appear short-legged, but I'm documenting it for future progress.

The portraits are really expressive, you've captured the mood/action of the subject really well!

Rather than focusing on making the legs longer, I'd actually suggest having another look at how you proportion your torsos. The images where the legs appear long also often seem to have the ribcage and hips set too low in place, which may be throwing you off. You might want to spend some time doing sketches that are just a line of action with head, ribcage, hips and joint circles to familiarise yourself with those proportions a little more.

Thank you for your critique.
On this day, I was still drawing without establishing a line of action first, so I couldn't capture the overall balance of the figure.
I ended up drawing the torso larger initially → which resulted in the legs appearing shorter.
Since I'm taking the Apprentice course, I'll try to set aside time for shorter croquis sessions at the start.
