Viewed the photo for 5 or 10min, but went over time in some cases to continue shading. Brush pen + zig art & graphic markers

I really like your hands! Your shading does a nice job of showing plan changes on the hands, and making them feel 3D. I think that your best drawings are the ones where the hands are interacting with nothing but themselves. The ones where the hand is interacting with an object don't quite feel quite as solid. Especially in regards to the drawing with the rope, it's hard to me to tell what the fingers are doing to the rope, exactly (are they pinching the rope? Is one curled around the rope? Is the rope behind both fingers or just one?). Given how solid your simpler hands are, it definetly seems like you could start to focus on more complicated references.

Thanks for the feedback! You're right, I do tend to have trouble with hands + objects, and I think it's partly because I concentrate more on the hand and only draw the object as an afterthought, which could make them seem disconnected. I'll try to pay more attention to the environment in my next studies.

Good evening, EmeraldBoa, and welcome back. How are you doing today? Say, nicest but greatest job on your display of forces over forms of your hands in most various gestures. Therefore, these lines of action and rhythm are still too stiffest to me yet. How would you care to go ahead with our only interactive drawing tutorial on our website here?(even if it means you’ll stick to mostly figures for a while)

The reasons why???:

1) To help yourself make your hand poses the least stiffest but the most flowing but fluidest but liveliest.

2) To help you simplify your hand proportions and angles the most to encourage drawing imagined gestures and poses the fullest.

I hope you'll find these tips and tricks the most totally helpful and therefore beneficial to you and your quest.
