day 30 - figure practice

Done as part of a practice session with pose of 40 minutes in length.
My current goal is: Better understand human anatomy, so I can render imagined poses
im not 100% satisfied with this but its getting late and i wanted to post something as todays progress, left hand was pretty difficult doesnt really look like the reference.. i started really studying eye porportions and headshapes, they seem to be getting closer and looking better.

Are you wagging your finger at me? That's OK. The figure is very good (so are the hands). You are moving along very nicely. Have you been studying your human anatomy? I am going to recommend to you that you might want to check out Pinterest and On Air Video. Also, remember: Practice makes better. Keep practicing & get some rest.

I really like the way you stylised the facial features! But maybe a tip for keeping the overall proportions more accurate would be making a box for the full figure to fit in and then blocking out the large shapes so you can see if anything feels off earlier on. Keep up the great work with your hatching and rendering!
