You say "as few lines as possible," but this looks like a very large number of lines... What would happen if you allowed yourself only 10 strokes?

You have some very expressive lines happening, and good variation in strokes. I would say though you might work a bit more on the value variation. You have a lot of very dark lines and a few lighter one, but your midtone game could use some love.
