here is the full set of 3 :+) i struggle with drawing hands interacting with each other, especially when it's between more than one person (holding hands, handshakes, stuff like that) - and i really have a hard time drawing hands interacting with objects >_< so i'd love any advice you guys have to offer!! anatomically speaking as well!! thank you so much for your time

Wow, violet, you're really going the the great gold on your feet and hands gestures. Very good!

The lines most all of them, seem or feel a bit too fearful and timider to me. How would you like to really take a whack of 90 minutes of 30 second scribbliest hands and feet drawings? As a result, if you really want to make a custom goal to make your hands and feet the least stiffest and the most dynamic, vital, and energetic in your forms and gestures. For most of hands and feet, please look into some of them on your Pinterest for help and inspiration, but also you can download them all.

Good luck to you, and happy drawing practicing! ;)

wow, polyvios, thank you so much for your thoughtful feedback! you're right, i get so nervous when it comes to fingers - i think i kinda freeze up & slow down to try to get them 'accurate', but then i lose the rhythm i had going!

90min of 30sec hand/feet scribbles sounds like a great idea! that ought to help me loosen up :~D i'll try & focus on keeping my flow, & not worry too much about accuracy. your comment is very thorough, i can tell you really took the time to observe the images i posted, & that means a lot to me! so thank you again - & happy drawing to you, too!

(ps - i checked out your website - i'm autistic, as well! birds of a feather ^_^ your paintings are beautiful!)

I can't critique hands without linking my favorite video for drawing hands! I would highly recommend watching it and following along with a sketchbook, it really helped me out.

But for the critique.. I would like to congradulate you on how you draw your thumbs! They are a very tricky thing to master, and a thing I struggle with myself. However, I think you might need to work on the other fingers. I noticed, particularly on the hands in fists, that you tend to draw your knuckles at the same hight, neat and all in a row, where, in reality, they tend to arc. You can see this by looking at the back of your hand.. You should note that the knuckles, base of the fingers, and the end of the fingers all land on an arc. I believe the person in the video called it the wifi rule (or something similar.. of course that's not an official name or anything but it made it easy for me to remember). I think incorporating this in your drawings could really level them up, and might making the interactions between hands and other hands/objects more believable. I hope that makes sense.. if you need me to clarify anything, let me know.

Happy drawing!
