Some gesture drawings for today. Used 4b pencil on regular paperAugust 22, 2017 12:30pm #2042
Looking good! How do you feel about them? What is your takeaway for your next practice session? :)August 22, 2017 12:40pm #2044
Thanks Kim! I hope to focus more on cleaning up my lines a bit. They're still a bit too messy. And add more flow to them. I think Swen is a master at that and his drawings are an inspiration :) Lots of talented people in here!February 6, 2018 7:31pm #2285
Hello again. Back at it with more gesture drawing, but focusing more on drawing bigger (regular 8.5 x 11 paper). I feel like these drawings are very stiff, but I guess that's expected when focusing on proportions, which is what I did on these. As always, critiques are welcome :)February 11, 2018 9:03am #2289
Hello , do you draw everyday since august? Sorry but i dont see the progress - im beginner thoFebruary 11, 2018 3:16pm #2290
Hi mugen. It's okay, I don't see the progress too! But one difference between my august post and these ones is that I drew full page for each figure. Going from small to big is pretty hard, so I'd suggest you start big from the beginning because I think it's easier to go the reverse. Hoping to upload some more soon this week. If I could self-critique myself, I'd say my drawings look a bit flat, but hoping to fix that soon.February 12, 2018 1:59pm #2292March 4, 2018 9:54pm #2315March 28, 2018 8:27am #2345
Hi! I love your line work, it looks so smooth and flowy and I can see some progress in the gesture but the bum/butt could use some more practice... well it's my opinion and I'm an amateur myself so I don't think I'll be any help but yeah I can see much progress in these few months.April 9, 2018 5:42pm #2366
Thank you ooo-kun! Yeah I gotta work on the bum a bit more. Harder than I thought. Hope to see some of your drawings in the future! Here's a bit more I did recently:
Tried to loosen up a bit more, and it seemed easier with pen than with pencil.
