Gutsy Shapes No. 1

Done as part of a practice session with poses of 30 seconds in length. My current goal is: Draw my one-point perspective, in my backgrounds, scenes, and environments, with most, most, and most instinct, and most, most, and most feeling. Here is my latest account of the latest scene and location sketch of the space telescope. I'm thinking about the Epcot Center, and I totally feel that this is at my most self-confidence, using the naturalness of lines of woodless pencils, applied to my quick jot. What do you think.

This is a great start at shorter studies, but I'd recommend trying with longer studies of 10-30 min so you can start to get better at your goals like one-point perspective and emotions conveyed in a piece. It's nearly impossible to do so if you're only doing drawings that take less than a minute, but this is a good start.

Still working on them. But I've done them before.

You are drawing a scene of something, correct? What you have done is very colorful; but I can not see any structure in it. I have know people who like to draw building, etc. You need to put some structure in your work. This site is about life/human figure drawing. That is a hard subject and takes much practice. I have been going to a local life drawing session for 6+ yrs. I have done over 5000 life drawings. My current work compared to when I started is much better. The people I go to "class" with have very much improve.

Practice makes better. Assess your goals and practice, practice, & practice some more. Be sure you date you work so that check you progress.
