Done as part of a 30 minute class. My current goal is: I don't know! I am an absolute beginner; I'm here to study the basics of rendering

sorry, i have a hard time understanding. I think you intend to add volume to the movement line, however the line has been lost. That's it? Don't you want to try to keep the line and then put the shape on top without removing the line?

Nice job on your hands, SINE, they're very looser and expressive indeed!

My suggestion is to please exaggerate those gestures even more and even more. Would you please go with 142 more minutes of 13 second hand and foot poses???? (142 x 60/13, 8520/13=655 gestural attitudes of hands and feet, all flipped horzontally and/or vertically, and/or grayscale)

The reason why you could go with this bit of improvement is because, it can and will help you out on speeding up your perceptions of edges, spaces, relationships (proportions and angles), lights and shadows, and the gestalt. For more details, look up the three Betty Edwards books, Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain, 4th; Drawing on the Artist Within, and Drawing on the Dominant Eye.

Good luck and hat's off to you from me.
