A Shot At Life

Old sketch. Got any colour pallets suggestions or edits? I know that the linework is stinky, but I drew this about 8 years ago, and the image has never left me. So I would like to rework it. The space needs to be longer, and more gaps. The drawing is squished, and I know it takes away from the idea. I seem to get lost in all the choices. I could use a few ideas and help.

I looked at your other works here & was very impressed. You are good. On this one, stop & take a breath, think about what you want to say (rethink it). Simplify it. Get rid of the extraneous items. What needs to be there to make your statement. Other things that do not meet those criteria you get rid of them. It might take multiple tries but you can do it. Practice makes better.

Hi jcmlfineart!
While you say the lineart is bad I actually disagree.
It actually looks like it could be a interesting abstract
piece!
As for color ideas.Desert western like tan colors would
Be neat or look into Pablo Picasso's work or similar works.
More bold deep colors or primary could work as well!
Don't know if this will help but wanted to throw it out there! Good Luck! :)
