"Topsy Turvy"

It was done as part of a practice session with poses of 30 seconds in length.
My current goal is to reduce stiffness and make my drawings feel more dynamic, energetic, fluid, and work on my "Brushmanship".
This is my second attempt at working with brushes instead of working with a pencil. I changed the angle of the meeting from a pointed upright position, like when the Chinese write their characters, to a drawing pencil position. I feel I had slightly more success due to this change in the handling of my implement. But it still doesn't have that beauty or competence I think I have when I use a pencil in my hand.
I took some advice from you and painted this way for about an hour. The drawing above is about midway through the drawing session. I thought that this was most fair to post as it was not as good as some of the later ones, but at a point where I could tell I had gone past the warm-up stage into a workout stage.
Thanks for your help.
All the best,
