    Hi!!

So at least for me, I'm a little bit more of a rhythm sketch person if that makes sense. Line of action is super important and helps people keep things loose and fluid, so I definitely keep it in mind while drawing. Generally speaking though, I don't usually draw it out, I look more for the movement of lines. My mother, who is also an artist, once said that there are shape people and line people and the trick of art is learning to see both. I think line of action is an interesting practice because it reduces shapes to a singular line, which is a great way to bridge those lenses. For my part though, I typically view shape and line as rhythm of movement, so it's definitely something that I need to work on.

    I hope this made sense!

    Hi hi!

Just trying to get back into drawing in general but figure study specifically. I'm going to try to post every time I remember to work as a way to force myself into doing it more.

I definitely feel that I need to work on proportion and relation in my studies. I feel that I glide past the neck and shoulder too much when I gesture, so they usually lack accuracy. So, that's definitely something I need to work on. I would like to eventually get back to built value detail work but I think I'm gonna tackle broad anatomical study and once I'm more solid there again, I'll work on developing detailed accuracy on top of that.

    Thanks for looking <3
