Dude your pretty much fine but quick sketch drawing is usually meant for sketching in a physical book. Regardless your fine with using ctrl+z since I your confident enough to finish the piece for time runs out.

Sorry for the late reply! Part time work and full time college classes have been taking up most of my time these past few weeks. I'm currently reading books by Bridgman for improving my skills with anatomy. Research ive done has been merely studying from online tutorials and the success of independent comic book creators like Ethan Van Sciver. I'll give Rober Hale a read when I can, any recommendations I have are mainly super heroe stories and old series from the bronze and modern period. My go to favorite series have been the Mask and the Maxx for introducing me into comic books. And as for advice if your still looking for it I would suggest deciding on an art program to run on multiple devices, preferably one that let's you customize your brushes and includes various effects for your canvas. I'm biased on this but in my experience Clip Studio Paint is a fine choice and cheaper alternative to a monthly subscription to Adobe illustrator. You also have to take into account of how you want your work space set up as well, will you be working with your laptop to be on the move and comfortable at the same time or sticking to a studio set up with multiple monitors and the like using a desktop computer.

If you have any advice on schools that offer courses on illustration out of the country or out of state let me know too.

Oh and check out Shawn Coss too! He's a main inspiration in terms of art considering how sharp and creatively inked his works are!

    Sincerely,

Heyo! Just wanted to say hi. It's great to see other people who also want to make comics books. I hope one day I can get good enough with drawing to make my own comic book one day. Still got a lot learn. I do more digital art than anything else truth be told but I'm trying to really take my time with just actually going back to the basics in the traditional format.
