    Agree with the above critiques, and how much your progression is showing. After looking through several other students 30 second gestures, these are some of my favorites! There's so much depth, movement and personality in each sketch. Great work!

    I agree that for the most part, your proportions are pretty well done, but perhaps what might help you advance is by starting lighter and varying your line weight a little more. Don't let yourself get dragged or weighed down within the first minute or so. Really keep your pencil moving, just barely grazing the page, until you have your basic shapes down. Working darker and darker as the form feels more fleshed and you feel more confident in the details. The layers of tone will also naturally add to the dynamism of your drawing and add depth without trying too hard. Keep going!! Woohoo!!
