Hello! New artist here coming in to fulfill my New Year's resolution. I dont really know what I'm doing but I had fun with it. Please share any exercises or tips I can use to improve! I wasn't able to draw it all on one page so i made an album if you could look at it that would be great https://imgur.com/a/dbfdi6M 30 seconds and 1 minute were difficult to get used to and I found that 5 minutes was the max time I could spend on one before I ran out of things to add Done as part of a 30 minute class. My current goal is: I don't know! I am an absolute beginner; I'm here to study the basics of rendering

Hello, Cosmic, and welcome to Line of Action, I'm Polyvios, and how are you? You know, I love how much simplicity you have applied to the solid foundation to your figure at the sort of right. I feel that the forces and organic drawing could be a little bit more organic. How would you love to care to go for 46 minutes of 2 minute pose drawings? (with a 5 minute break in between?)

The reason why you would like to go ahead with this proceedure is because it can and will help improve your organic drawings by making your poses less stiff, but more fluid and livelier. Also, if you're still curious about more gesture drawing to loosen up your poses, please look into the Vilppu Drawing Manual in PDF here.

So, my hats off to you.

Hey begginer here so where on the same boat. What I recommend you to do is to not draw in geture straight lines because they're breaking the movement.

Cheer up, I'm kind of a beginner too! I find that your lines of action/body proportions, especially in regard to head/torso/hips, are on point. This is what I've been working on too!

Try practicing for those max times that you've mentioned and see if any further improvement. I find it hard to figure out why they wouldn't give you more than 5mins to work on your stuff! But then again I'm new.
