1November 19, 2020 3:17pm #26402Very perfect class drawings, laitochris. I really love your gestures, and your very light lines and touches. So, I've got one small recommendation: if you're new to this website, then why don't you please check out using this drawing tool??
So, they could give you a really bigger boost up in your spontaneity, if you are a beginner or an expert.
Hope it's been completely and totally valuable to your current goal.

November 19, 2020 4:14pm #26404Polyvios Animations Thank you very much! I have been using this website for a year and I am very satisfied. But I don't know how to continue now haha
November 24, 2020 3:37am #26418Looks nice! The figure from the 20 minute drawing looks a bit stiff and off proportioned, I recommend focusing on gestures of 5 minutes and below to begin loosening up your strokes a bit more. I also recommend studying up on muslce and bone placement to give your figures a defined volume. But great work so far, keep it up!

1November 29, 2020 11:11am #26445Hi Laitochris,
It is my first time critiquing, and I hope that I won't offend you.
Nice work on your figure drawings and good first step on drawing figures! I do like your proportions on the body.
It is just me assuming, but I see that you make the blocks of the body (head, torso, hips) first and then add the legs and arms?
I did look at your 30 second figures and maybe a small suggestion is that try to draw the figures first by starting with an action line.
By drawing an action line, you get get the "flow" of the body and the base of the action that the body is doing.
Here is the link to what an action line is : https://line-of-action.com/article/gesture-basics-1-line-of-action/
I use this technique as well, and drawing an action line for the shoulders helped me tremendously when drawing figures too.
Don't focus on trying to draw each essential part of the body, but rather on what the person in the photo is doing and express it more naturally.
I hope this helps, and keep drawing!
1November 29, 2020 4:48pm #26448Thank you very much to all! I have practiced every one of the tips they have given me, and although some exercises made me feel a bit insecure, I am still working on that. It is a great community!
