This was my first day doing so. Although I don't think I did terrible I think I still have a lot to improve on And would appreciate tips/critique. It was so easy to visualize the drawing of the animal in my head but when I actually tried to draw it it felt like there were so many different shapes I could draw or it just felt very difficult to visualize a part of the animal as a shape? For example I didn't know whether to go with drawing joints or just ending a limb with a cylinder, etcetc. I also feel like I rushed a bit and will definitely take my time more next time. https://imgur.com/a/6ViQbrl

October 15, 2023 11:33pm #30213October 13, 2023 4:57am #30207I'm following the solo artist curriculum and am currently going through Proko's figure drawing course, first starting with gesture drawing. These are all 2 minute gestures. I've done class mode a couple times but find that when I have to do the longer 10-25 minute drawings, it feels like it contrasts from the "idea" of gesture drawing as more time means more details which I feel like gesture drawing shouldn't be about. Any critique is appreciated, thanks so much
