Good morning, Janhackstrom, how are you doing tonight? Nice job on solid precision in the forces and forms of that nude. Keep up the great work and I hope to see more figure drawings from you.

Some of those lines on this nude look a bit too itchy and scratchy to me. Would you please free up your hand with 5 minutes of 30 second blind contour drawings and upside-down drawings. As you can plainly see, Jan, these exercises are commonly taught in art classes around the world. They are the basic introductory lessons, simply to get you into the observation in the way you see the world. Observation is not only good for you, but totally important. Check out these two videos below.

The form seems very accurate. My only potential critique would be about the lines, as they seem a bit scratchy and not confident. While you have skill in being able accurately depict the form from a picture (much better than i can, heh) i wonder if that skill can be used for depicting imagined poses as well.

Free up those hands! Make confident lines! Abstraction is cool too!
