Heya! Please call me Iguana, as I'm not comfortable with giving my real name, and I use they/them pronouns. I like to do any kind of character creation, except I'm kinda limited by the fact that it's hard for me to draw anything but women. So because of that, I'm currently learning how to draw men and others. It's not going very well, but I'm going to get better because I am a beginner. Other than that kinda big problem I am fixing, I love to draw any kind of character, if art block hasn't hit me too hard!

Hey ReaDelila! For a sketch of a child, with minimal details, it's pretty good! Reiterating what others have said, make the heads a little bigger and then make everything just a little awkward. A kid is trying to do a pose, but their limbs are shorter(which you noticed) than an adult's limbs, and that makes it more awkward than an adult. I'm no genius at drawing kids either, but those are helpful at pushing you in the right direction!
