    Good tips! I would add:

    - I tend to make *fast* art, as in pieces that take the least amount of time possible so I can't give up and start something else halfway through.

    - Any kind of music really helps as it occupies a mental track that becomes unavailable for wandering thoughts. I mean, you said it better @Eadaein.

    - Challenges! Short challenges I can find on art-geared social networks are a great boost because they make the part of my brain that constantly needs new things go *wow* and they really help with productivity.

    - Collabs! Working with other people makes it unlikely we're all gonna hit a wall at the same time, and it's easier to help others focus and receive help myself than to kick my own butt :p

Hi everyone! I'm Diane, an artist who has been blown away recently by young artists and feel the need to catch up. ADHD and more T_T

I usually don't exercise those skills too much but I did learn model and still life sketching like… 20 years ago in school? Outch.

I'm also participating in Art Fight and other challenges that have been going around on Cara (the community is so lovely there <3).

I specifically want to improve my colors, I usually make very bland stuff bc I'm more of a comic artist so more focused on telling the story. Line of Action's tools look amazing O_O

Anyway, hi, looking forward to making progress and witnessing yours!
