Really interesting study

I'm impressed by the face! The pose is also challenging but to me, the twist in the body looks believable. The longer I look at it, however, I think the torso is a bit too long? The hand on the belly looks a bit flat instead of curved -> Did you try to separate the hand and fingers by pre-drawing them as two separate squares? This method usually helps me to properly draw hands when they are curved.

Really love this. Very stylized. The only thing that might make take it up a notch is putting in some more recognizeable values. Cheers, well done.

Yeah, Fingers and hands are a weakness.

When working with shorter poses like this, I usually mark the hand's base shape and then come in at the last minute before the timer runs out. It's a huge disservice to this drawing. The feeling of the figure is usually what I am most focused on, everything else is decoration.

I think you are right, that I should spend a bit more time on making the fingys or leaving them out if there is not enough time on the clock.

Thanks for the focus spot.

This is beautiful! The chunky shading is so dynamic and a very cool style. I love the way you were able to realistically create the body fat distribution. My biggest critique would be to add more shadows around the edges of her body. I know you weren’t focused on the background but I think some shading under her counts as her body. It wouldn’t be there if she wasn’t there and could anchor the sketch in reality a bit more. Specifically I think under  her head and torso could be very effective even if minimal. That is me nitpicking tho I love this

It looks really good! My only suggestion would be to focus more on creating asymmetrical shapes in the body. The pose is good, but the more “snowman-like” shapes are making the figure look a bit stiff in her movement. Breaking that symmetry and varying the apex of the curves more could help make her feel more fluid and natural.

Yuriben,

Thank you for the advice. I will work on my asymmetry. I see what you mean.
