Scenery and landscape is totally outside my comfort zone, so I am working on expanding said comfort zone.

looks good, but the entire scene seems tilted to the side, make sure your refernce lines are straight as possible! good job on making impressions of the stairs! try to ignore people as much as possible, they're not the focus of the exersize, only use them as reference points to make sure things are proportionate and relative!
