Chalk studies (26.01.24)

Hello and good morning, Valo. Great job on your chalk gestures of your figure sketches. They sorta remind me of the females drawn by Egon Schiele. I love the linear economy of the poses with bent legs and arms. I also love the perspective and foreshortening on those appendages. Yet, I'm not enjoying enough of that expressive quality to your mark making. Would you mind if I suggested if you would go for really exaggerated edges in your figures, using the sides of your pastels, instead of their tips?

Hey ! Great work, 3 minutes each, that is very good, proportions, dynamic poses, cloths details, everything.

I can't think of a way to help you here. Maybe adding more details from that point could be a great way to keep practicing ? Like face expression, shades and shadows on the floor, more cloth details.
