60 sec. Figure drawing
© 2024 A Child24I've been working on line of action and quickly getting down the vibes of a pose as well as my proportions. I can't tell if I'm making progress or not so any feedback is much appreciated

Hello A Child24.
Hey, you're doing a far than greater job on capturing the silhouettes, gestures, and proportions really, very well.
If I was to help you constantly improve, even though it's a bit farther too esoteric at first, I really think that the looser sketches are farther too rigider and stilted for my sensibilities. So would would you like to go by what Disney Animator, Eric Goldberg, put it and puts it:
To OBSERVE and TO CARICATURE
And while you're at it, please work more from your non-dominant shoulder with 5 minutes of 30 second drawings?
Because of the inspirational quote and the technique tip, I'd say you can and will develop your drawing techniques in a more funnier way. So for more of this Disney Animation guy, I'm not sure if he's working there or not, please peruse this video down below.
So, my hat's off to you.

You pick up the proportions and the poses very well.
One tip, that may sound strange at this stage: Try to not hurry your lines too much. Take your time to plot out your lines, and try to draw each whole line in a single move. It is better to get less of the figure done, but with clean lines. That way you get used to a good drawing rhythm, that you can continue to use, when you feel ready to spend more time on longer drawings.
If you now continue training drawing longer lines by adding little scratchy lines together, then you will have to retrain that later to ever become able to use beautiful lines.

With "plotting lines" I mean "ghosting": Decide from where to where you want the line to go, then move your pen two or three times along the plotted line but above the paper, until you see the "ghost" of the line, then put the pen on the paper and draw it.
