Done as part of a class. My current goal is: Better understand human anatomy, so I can render imagined poses

From what I can see personally, you have a well defined grasp of shading. I understand the pose you are going for and I see that you are getting foundation and it's a pretty good one. Since I don't know what time limit you used on yourself, I'll instead talk more about proportions. I see that your legs are just a little bit off so I would suggest holding off on shading until you're getting more of a grasp with the sizes of everything in a art piece. I can also tell your not fully connecting the legs to the pelvis. And part of that problem is the cloth covering it. So if you're willing to do this, then I suggest using nude models. Another thing I suggest that you look at body in two parts at a time. Let me explain. I can see that the forearm is slightly disproportionate to the upper arm. So for me I would look at just the arm and forearm and correct them based off of eachother. Then I will look at the torso and arm and make them proportionate,So on and so forth. Use a part you made proportionate, and go to a part that you haven't made proportionate. Finally, be sure not to use shading to cover up any mistakes. Since if you do, you won't learn from them since you cover them up. Overall this is a solid piece and you have done a great job. I hope you have a lovely day, and this helps you.

Thanks, brilliant feed back!

I love the fluidness of this pose! I would say it is importantly to note the underlying structure where the joints are. But overall it is SUPER good!!!
