American Poppies Colour study

Crayon on paper. I am wondering if I should leave more of the copper and yellow tones in the figure, or go full ham on the green/blue tones. I stopped developing the figure to take some time to work this out before doing the full-colour study. What do you think?

I think a bit of yellow won’t hurt but try to not make it too much and focus more on Blue purple and green this way the background could consist of warmer colors wich would make for a good contrast.
