30 s lines of action

by Ailinon, May 12th 2021 © 2021 Ailinon

A series of workouts over several days, from bottom to top. I experimented a bit with lines because I watch different videos and all artists draw a little differently. I like it. I also like this habit, to draw in the morning =)

I have been having trouble doing gesture at first but I'm slowly getting the hang of it. I still need help how to draw arms, torso, and legs without being stiff.

Nice job on your 30 second quick doodle practices, Ailinon.

I've got one more suggestion tonight, I love how much motion and emotion in the quick attitudes I see. I really need to see even more boldness in the poses, with 30 minutes of 28 second quick gestures of figures??? (1800/28=about 64 rough sketches)

The arguement behind that critique is because, it can be able to guide you on your animal gestures of felines, by giving that Chinese-watercolor-like look and impressionist feeling in the range of expression and emotion, which'll be great practice.

Good luck to you, and my hat's off to you.

it all looks so professional and expert-like. I wish I could draw like you.

you are doing many things right including practicing drawing them small, and drawing diffrent expressions

next time you should actually add more detail

Thank you! I draw from real photos, so expressions from there =)

I'm sure you can do that too with practice. it took time and I'm glad I did it.

And yes, they are just 30 seconds, so they are without details. When I paint for 1, 2, and 5 minutes, there is more detail.
