Idk if I like this one piece for the torso and hips or if I have an easier time with two circles

Once Filo

You would probably have a easier time with two separated objects since the rib cage and the pelvis can be practically perpendicular (if you extend lines).

Personaly I use forms closer to the actual bones, an egg shape with an hole at the bottom for the rib cage and a kind of bowl with an opening in front for the pelvis.

At the end of the day even for fast drawings, you have to personally simplify these complex forms into simple forms YOU understand and can replicate quickly.

Greatest works on your simplification of the forces and anatomy of the body, indeed! Please keep up your strongest observations.

Yet in the meantime, these forces and rhythms don't seem too softest enough against the hardest straights. How would you like to loosen and liven up your gestures and shapes with 10 minutes of 2 minute poses? (5 poses) The reason why you would and should do this tip is because, it can and shall make your action sketches the least bland and the most dynamic, enegetic, and alive. For furthest details, please look into some Glen Keane and Fred Moore sketches on Pinterest.

Happy Practicing and a Very, Merry, Happy New Year!
