      if you're going for realism, the tips of the fingers are far too big, and the base of the index finger too thin. Stylistically it looks great though, and the emphasized proportions lend to the bold lines and crosshatching!

I have a good grip on realism and when I do these studies I'm actually pushing the edges of shape and design. So this was a deliberate step in the opposite of realism.
