Gesture Drawing Session #6

by Omnificient, September 11th 2023 © 2023 Omnificient

Done as part of a practice session with poses of 2 minutes in length.

My current goal is: Reduce stiffness and make my drawings feel more dynamic, energetic, fluid

Felt really on top of my game today, but not sure if what I portrayed could be considered "Fluid". I at least feel like I did a good job :)

Good afternoon, but once again, greater works on your range of gestures, and stylization and caricature of motion and action in your poses, but they all seem a bit too rigider to my tastes. They could have been even more fluider yet. How would you like to go ahead with our 16 minute warm-up session of 1 minute pose warmup sketches? (16 warmup drawings)

The reason why you should and would go on board with this is because you can and will be able to follow through with your recent goal with just the most figurative piece of cake. Your overlap of forces and perspectives and foreshortening will become the most boldest but most powerful yet. And if you wanna see and know more, please look into the PDF of the Walt Stanchfield Vol. 2 here, but then click on the Vol. 1 link on this link.

Hope these things here have helped you out extremely well.

awesome work! do not focus on form. work on images of 30 sec and try to capture the main line, Maybe it sounds silly but it helps to train your eye to capture the movement. cheers and hope this works. thanks!
