Warmup environment 240805
© 2024 JeannethorntonDone as part of a practice session with poses of 10 minutes in length--warming up before starting main drawing for the day. I'm not sure if this is a reasonable way to approach an environment gesture?
My current goal is: Improve my shading and rendering of light
Nice warm up. The darkness of the trees bring them to the front. Scattered leaves get smaller in background creating depth. Waterfall is readable. Consider grouping trees more to the left and making branches narrower than trunk. Add branches and make them overlap. This will leave more white space in front of the waterfall. Lighter trees would be ok in the across the river and they should be slightly smaller than front trees.
