Really interesting technique! Do you have a specific goal you're working toward right now?

What class/session details were you doing? How long did you do?

There’s currently no image reviews or directory available for easy browsing.

This is because most of our images so far (especially in the figure study tool) used in the gesture drawing tools were provided by very generous photographers interested in helping to train fine artists, but some of them specified in the licensing agreement that their images were not to be displayed in any kind of archive or list. Out of respect for their artwork and their legal rights, we have complied and not added an image archive/review to the site.

Typically what people do to get around this is either pause to spend as long as they like on an image, or I think some take a screenshot.

We don't have a way to manually enter time that wasn't done in our specific tools, sorry!

Thanks for the feedback Rinaldoishak. You're right, it needs another pass. :)

To answer your question, when the bar is all white like that, it still needs to upload. At this point, it has not uploaded at all; it's still on your device. The preview is referencing your own filesystem and not ours. It just appears so you can preview and make sure you're about to upload the right thing.

When you hit the upload button, that's when it finally uploads to our servers. I had set it to upload one at a time so that people could title and describe them separately, but an option for multiple images would be nice too.

AHA! Okay, I see the problem. No worries! All your time has been properly recorded, it's just not being shown correctly. I'll fix this up today and you shouldn't have lost any credit for what you did. :)

You did exactly the right thing by letting me know. I'll investigate now.

One of the main tricks for this is to draw from the elbow or shoulder, not from the wrist. This can give you very large, long, swooping lines.

I'd also suggest you try our short drawing tutorial if you haven't already, it will have a lot of suggestions about stuff to do in your 30 seconds: https://line-of-action.com/learn-to-draw

Just crossed timezones off the list!

    * Timezone account setting, so all timestamps and day starts will look right to individual members.

Hi again! The timezone update is out now. :D

Go to your User menu (it'll be your icon in the menu) and choose "Account settings" to find it. :) There's also a prompt if you haven't set it yet in your studio

I'm still working on time zone settings. I hope to have it out in the next couple of weeks. :)

Your hands are fairly strong. I see a few minor issues, but for me, the key is this paragraph:

I feel I should change my routine a bit, focus more on full body poses instead of just hands 24/7 - maybe practice basic 3d shapes and lighting, too, as I spend far too much time working out where to put the shadows instead of thinking "this shape = this kind of shadow", which probably won't help me much in the long run.

Sounds like you've done a great job of self-diagnosing! I definitely urge you to put your own study-plan into practice for a couple of weeks. I really look forward to seeing where it leads you. :)
