Hi I'm Pete from Wellington New Zealand.
I am here to learn ... about so many things ... and have set myself three goals, goals which for me are really quite ambitious : Stop Wandering, Be Brave and Take Courage.
Stop wandering ... I seem to spend more time surfing, channel hopping and browsing, watching demonstrations and courses than actually drawing. Wandering around the web, looking for the elusive perfect course, system, teacher, method ....
Be Brave ... get out the pencil, paper, sit down and go for it. So, it didn't turn out as I wanted ... practise. Practise some more. Stick with it. You can fix it. Practise. There is no perfect course, method, teacher or shortcut.
Take Courage ... and show others what I have done. Invite criticism, ask for help. Maybe it isn't as bad as I think. Who knows ? One thing for sure, I will never know until I share what I have done.
So, as a newbie to this site ... this seems like a group focussed on what I am trying to achieve ...onwards and upwards. I hope to share and discuss with other group members going forward.
