I decided to start from the beginning and practice shapes and shading stuff like that with the still shapes section of this website. I was just fustrated continuously drawing with no understanding of the subject. Any advice on where I should go after learning shape work / more fundamentals !! Thank you !!

ive been drawing for years but i don't feel like I've made any actual progress so the first thing I want to learn properly is figure drawing. I've been using this website for references, but I feel like I'm lacking because none of my drawings look exceptionally good. if their are any exercises, videos, materials, or advice you know that could help me even in the slightest pls let me know. anything is well appreciated.
