I recently got reminded of these forums. I wanted to share that a few of my mutuals from this site are in a discord server together. If you're 18+ (yes that's required) and interested in having a spot where you can seriously chat about work and post drawings please feel free to join. We're relatively small but are putting in the work to make it a nice little hub and curb the problems we tend to see in art communities on discord. WE ARE VERY AI ALSO!

Again we are adult focused community. While young artists will always be important we find that they tend to flood a lot of art spaces, thus influencing our decision to want this to be an adult community. We keep our NSFW art and regular art separate in the server if that is a concern for you. You are in no way forced to interact with that stuff if you don't want to.

About The Community:

"The Scrapbox" is an adult art community. While we are not NSFW focused we welcome it. Here you can enjoy a nice organized art community! We offer a place to post your personal portfolios, comms, or trade requests unlike what you may find on other smaller art servers.

I go through this too sometimes. I know personally my mental health suffers when it happens. I think it's necessary to be kind to yourself and not jump on the "Im an awful artist" bandwagon. Which i've been very guilty of. I remember to remind myself that progress is not a constant upward slope and it's okay to take my time while I get back into practice

Honestly, practice always helps. The previous people brought up wonderful points that I would have also said. I think while practice makes perfect, finding other people that also are striving for what you are is helpful too and will definitely make the repetitive practice process a little emore rewarding. It's one of the reasons I appreciate the forums on this site, you can almost always find someone to critique drawings or provide encouragement 👍❤️

heya, im ori, a 19 year old college student. I enjoy practicing and improving my art. Honestly I just want more art friends. Seasoned and new, and i'm sure others do too! unfortunately places i join aren't really active or follow good ethics. I was wondering if people would be up for a discord server? let me know please! if like, 3 people are interested i'll make it. I just don't want to get my hopes up.
