Over Tara
I have been working as a portrait artist for many years. I enjoy concept art and designing book covers as well. Many of my portraits are of animals but I also paint people too. I have studied classical master painters but I also love sci-fi and fantasy. I am working on my first picture book for kids ages 2 to 8. Going to write and illustrate. (in between my freelance work) and my commissioned portraits.My medium of choice depends on the project and my mood especially if it's a personal project.
Traditional oils, Acrylics, Pan Pastels, Graphite - Digital Oils, Acrylics and watercolors. I paint in Corel Painter (Featured Corel Artist) and I also paint and prep ideas in Photoshop.
I have also worked as a character/sculpting/ texture artist for almost 20 years -
