The bench

Nice! I like the grass growing out of the frame, compared with that the tree looks a little stiff. Other than that, it's very good!

I think that your drawing has a peaceful, cinematic atmosphere with a strong composition, where the bench framed by the tree and bush works well. The subtle ink wash in the background adds depth, but clearer ground perspective and a shadow beneath the bench would anchor the scene better. Varying line thickness between foreground and background would create more visual interest and depth, and I tihnk that adding small textural elements, like grass or stones, could bring life to the empty ground without cluttering. Finally, I was wondering if combining soft washes with sharper ink accents would enhance the overall storytelling and guide the viewer’s eye naturally
