Done as part of a 30 minute class. My current goal is: Improve at correctly capturing the overall proportions of the human form

you have the line of action down! i think you could try shortening the torso (reminder that the ribcage is shorter than the entirety of the torso!) and lengthening the arms! the fingertips of a standard human form should come to around halfway down the thigh when completely relaxed.

The gesture is nice. I think what would be most helpful to practice is being more confident with your lines. Not every line is gonna be perfect, but if you keep going over the same line the result may look scratchy or messy. Keep up the good work! Practice is key.

I identified something I also struggle with, which is "where do I start the legs" and I think enough practice and observation exercises could help you out with that, but something I observed is that it could be a bit higher. The torso/belly is too long, and the hips should start a bit higher. Something that helped me is copying the reference but in a 3d way (simplified obviously), so it's my suggestion. Althought you should totally keep practicing until you find the way that works best for you 🙏
