Anyone else in UAE stuck with FAB transfer not going through after adding beneficiary?

Hi everyone, a bit of a random one for this space but I figured there are quite a few people here juggling freelance work and income from different places, so maybe someone has run into this.

I’ve been doing some remote work recently and getting paid through a FAB account in the UAE. I added a beneficiary to send some money out, everything looked approved, but the transfer just keeps failing without a clear reason. It’s been a couple of days now and still no luck, even though the details are correct.

What’s making it more confusing is I’m not fully sure what my exact balance is at the moment. I’m using a Ratibi card setup, so I don’t have full online banking access, and the SMS updates are hit or miss. It’s a bit like working on a drawing and not knowing if you’ve saved the latest version or not.

Just wondering if this is a common issue with FAB when adding a new beneficiary, and also how people in a similar setup are checking their actual balance reliably. It’s getting tricky to manage payments alongside freelance work without a clear view of what’s available.
