Understanding gesture drawing a bit more...

Done as part of a 30 minute class. My current goal is: Improve at correctly capturing the overall proportions of the human form I read a bit more about gesture drawing last night and was excited to try drawing more free-form, uninterrupted-line sketches. These are my 30 second drawings (a few might have been 60 seconds). I tried not to lift my pencil for these. I enjoyed the process a lot more. I could really feel how they helped me tackle the more refined and detailed 5/10-minute sketches.
