Done as part of a 30 minute class.

My current goal is: Better understand human anatomy, so I can render imagined poses

I’ve only recently started drawing digital. I’m using ProCreate on an iPad and am not quite used to the surface texture. I feel like I don’t have a lot of control drawing on glass.

Yes, Shoeknight,

I've been using ProCreate myself, too. Hey, here's an idea, why don't you try doing your warm-up drawing on a separate project, please? It can take you as short as 30 seconds or less.

Thank you.

I usually try to use my gestures as a warm up, I’m not really quite sure what I could draw in 30 seconds, but I’ll try!

thanks!

I think you're doing really well in terms of expressing movement and fluidity. From what I can see, it doesn't look very stiff except when you get really detailed. If I were you I would focus on keeping that movement in the later stages of the drawing, but the proportions are really good. I don't see any major anatomy mistakes.

I’ve always been kinda proud of my anatomy, so thanks for commenting! I have a bad habit of getting discouraged very easily, so a lot of the stiffness in the details is partly just my frustration expressing itself... I’m hoping more practice will kind of loosen that out!

thanks for the feedback!
