Starting out with stick figures is one of the best ways to build up a good understanding of structure! I say keep practicing these, but get a little more complicated with the 30 seconds every time.
Start to have looser, rougher lines. Instead of just straight bended lines, do something more free and energetic.
Begin to add a very faint, fast outline of the body on top of the stick figures. Don't press down too hard with your pencil or pen, but let it make it small, flowing lines. Warm up your hand by drawing circles before you start, I'd add.
