I think you're doing a great job capturing the proportions of the torso in such a short amount of time! I would suggest using more curved lines for the arms. Also, including the legs in your sketches (even if theyre just single lines) because the legs are important for the overall proportion of the figure. Extending your line of action to include the legs might help with this! Great job!
