Country sunrise for quiet boys

Done as part of a 1 hour class.

My current goal is: Better understand human anatomy, so I can render imagined poses, & learn how to quickly compose background and environment scenes

love how loose you are with the environment!

I just love how looser and more free-wheeling you are with your scene and figure, SamNorthwest.

Say, if I was to suggest on how to improve on something, then it would be to loosen up your hand even most, in 30 minutes of 30 second scenes and figure drawings, would you please?

The reason why is because, it'll help you get your act together in terms of backgrounds, compositions, and human anatomy gestures.

Hope it's been totally purposive.

Thank you for the comments an the tips! This was done at the end of a 1-hour "class mode", so there was some warmups early on but it was tough getting loose.

Halfway through this piece I flipped the way I held my pencil from a "handwriting" grip to more of an artists grip, and it significantly changed the way my brain worked out the scene, and it's where I was able to capture the trees and the shape of the hill. Prior to that I was really struggling with those shapes, so I think this transition in my grip is what crated this free-feeling.

Thanks again for your feedback, I'll work more on those quick gestures, while trying to keep this in mind about the grip!

I think you captured the image very beautifully and gracefully. Great job on this!
