Face study Sept 12

I just felt like doing a single face practice today. The angle of this man's head was difficult to capture correctly. I'm not sure why. If anyone can help me figure out what's throwing it off here, I'd appreciate it!

Most awesomest job on how well you've recorded your facial expression with the fewest lines possible. I think your face is very well-articulated in terms of forces, spaces, and facial relationships (proportions and angles). I feel that the expression needs the most dynamics and the internal movements of the gestures in your faces and expressions. Why don't you kindly free up your non-dominant hand with 10 minutes of 5 minute faces and expressions with your non-dominant hand?
The explanation is because of two things:
1) To help you on your creative shifts from one brain to another.
2) To help make your faces and expressions the least stiffest and the most fluidest but liveliest.

Faces isn't my expertise but I feel the ear is supposed to be higher up and folded closer to the cranium to fit the perspective, then again he can have ears like that too. Love the hair btw!
That might be part of it! I can't remember ensuring the ear was at the right height. I feel I might also need to show more of the top of the head maybe?
Yeah that might be it, I feel like the hair in the back of his head is exactly where the skull would be - making it look too small?
