30 sec figure drawings

I really like where these drawings are going! There's a sense of fluidity in these poses and the actions are easy to read.
My biggest piece of advice would be to (1) study videos, blog posts, and other resources that break down the major masses of the body and (2) study anatomy through an external course (e.g. Proko, CGMA, Will Weston) or book (e.g. Loomis, Rogers-Peck, Stonehouse, Anatomy for Sculptors).
By studying the major masses of the body (head, abdomen, and pelvis) and their relationship to gesture drawing, you will have a better understanding of what's most important to draw. By studying anatomy, you will improve your understanding of how muscles influence different poses and how they behave according to the position of the bones.
I like the energy in all of these 30 second poses, but it's clear that your understanding of what's there isn't as strong as it should be. Also, for 30 second poses it's most important to identify a "line of action" (generally a c curve, s curve, or slightly curved straight line) that describes the pose. Draw in the major masses in line with that smooth, expressive line.
Good luck to you :)

Nice work on the scribbly poses, dcooley, very energetic and vital.
Again, nice work on poses' vitality and energy here and there. So, I've got one littlest recommendation, I love the quick poses here, but I really want to loosen and free up your shorthands even more with custom timer's 29 second quick drawing exercises of figure studies, all in a custom session of 151 minutes of them????????? (151 x 60/29, 9060/29=312 quick warm ups of bodies of humans)
The reason why you would do this is as a result, your shorthand poses will become the lesser the stiff, and the most solid, dynamic, energetic, and fluid.
If you want it to be your goal, then do it.
My hat's off to you, and I hope you've found this completely and totally concrete enough.
