Hey, I'd like to apoligize to you, GiftW, sorry that you're not getting enough concrete words of encouragement, but by the way, way to go on your 5 minute pose of the human proportions...so far, so good.

Again, if I was to give you a completely and definitely sincere critique, it would be that, one of the calves is a teeny bit too bulbous and rigid here, but otherwise, nice work on the relationships. Why don't you please look up some human proportions images on the Net, for more influencing in your recent goal??

The reason why you would be able to do this is because, it you'd be able to find this completely and totally beneficial in your current goal tonight, then I suggest and motivate you to absolutely go for it, W! Let's go!

So please don't be discouraged, it's tough to find the advice concrete enough for you. So kindly bear with us.

Well, good luck, cheers, and I hope you've found these definitely and totally beneficial, concrete, and useful.

Hello Gift W, I'm sorry to hear that you are having a hard time with finding improvement nor finding real critique. It's hard at times to continue a goal when there isn't encouraging words and pointers to help motivate you. My best advice is don't be discouraged if your not finding the results you have set for you. Improving is hard to see when your putting a lot of pressure on yourself. With that said I suggest that you look at any older sketches you have done to see a difference in your form of the poses. It's always encouraging to see the differences from that 5 min sketch then when you were doing it on your own.

From the looks of little time you had you were able to find the essence of the pose. Which is good! If you need to accuratly find the twisting and bending of the figure I recommend a video called The Bean by Proko he is on youtube and is good at able to process the anatomy of the torso. (Along with many other things, he breaks it down as simply as he can in my opinion) As for the legs I do see it isn't well shaped for the ankle to look like a cankle, I'd suggest you look at the connection of the calf to the ankle to the foot. Mostly there is a distinction in the bone structure for the ankle to slim down to the foot. However with all that I hope you enjoy drawing! Don't be frustrated practice takes years and dedication!
