Day 13, Ink brush

by Starcursedmass, October 26th 2021 © 2021 Starcursedmass

Done as part of a practice session with poses of 30 seconds in length.

Used an ink brush this time, has a much higher stabilization set. Keeping on practicing.

My current goal is: I don't know! I am an absolute beginner; I'm here to study the basics of rendering, stay consistant with practice.

Hello, congrats on starting your art journey! I'm not much of an artist myself, but I'd recommend perhaps focusing more on the rotation of the hips and shoulders for gesture drawings rather than what the arms and legs are doing. The torso and hips/pelvis tend to define a lot of poses and the arms and legs can get built off of that base in a variety of ways, so it's usually a lot more helpful to capture that before the arms and legs are.

Also, if you're drawing digitally, be careful about how much stabilization is on your stylus since sometimes it takes some life out of the lines if it's set too high.

Hope this is a little useful and you keep up with your practice!
