Gestures 21 10 22

by Tonovz, October 21st 2022 © 2022 Tonovz

Done as part of a 30 minute class.

My current goal is: Reduce stiffness and make my drawings feel more dynamic, energetic, fluid

So i was drawing a gesture pose and got inspired (it was the 10 minute one), and with the time remaining i just added an armor and samurai helmet to that cute girl in the middle yass

Great job on your quick poses, Tonovz, on all of your quicker poses above, especially your imaginative girl shogun attitude. Way to go on your range of motion and dynamics on your simplest roughest guidelines.

However, upon flipping the shogun pose horizontally above, the feet don't seem or look to assymetrical above in terms of the roughest gesture. Would you kindly free up your hands and shoulders with 30 minutes of 2 minute nude and clothed figures and feet for each hand and shoulder? The reason why is because of a) to make your perspective and forms of the feet and feet in the figures to, like following thru in the goal, be the least stiffest, and the most dynamic, energertic, fluidest, and liveliest, and your forms and details will comply to your gesture lines. For most details, be sure to look into the Bridgman books on figure drawing available on Amazon.com

Hope this helps, and cheers.
